mad dogs

GUEST WRITER: Kolbjörn (visiting Gunnar on his trip)

Thursday 27 March - Kolbjörn arrive in Korinthos after renting a  bike in Athens.
Friday - 70km - Korinthos-Mykene-Argos-Kios
We found our way to the oldest city in Greece (Mykene) where we walked from the city to the ruins (2km ow). It was really interesting to see all the old buildings and customs of the former people of peloponessos.

Mad dogs in Greece, I found a new terror where there are dogs guarding the road next to their houses. The first night was covered in nightmares about those dogs, then it became better seeing that the dogs didn't bite (but that's just because we didn't meet the craziest of them) we were lucky...

Saturday  28 March - 50km - Kios-Nafplio-Arhea Edipaurus
Ouch!!!!!! - the second day was tough after the biking where my knee hurt and the but was a bit soar... OK enough complaining.

Sunday 29 March - 40km - Arhea Epidaurus - Loutro Elenis
Nice cykling (the up-hill begins here). The food has been really good, but it is strongly recommended to do a lot of excersise when in Peolponessos ... the Greeks love fast food!

Monday 30 March - 20km - Loutro Elenis - Korinthos
Crossing the Korinth Canal is amazing dated some time in the 19th century.

Overall, the trip was great, just what everyone needs when on vacation -  B.E.A.U.tiful weather, nice (down)hills and great company :)

GR: It was very nice to have Kolbjorn visiting. He leaves for Athens tomorrow morning and I take the train to Patras to take the ferry to Bari (Italy).,
