This is olive country. They are everywherere and they have been here for a long time as can be seen from their aged trunks.

There is quite some small scale fishing going on, and you can get fish in all restaurants. A bit expensive compared to other food, but still within reach.

In the plains a lot of different crops arre grown. Olives of course, fruits of many kinds, strawberries (they are flowering in the polytunnels), artichokes, wheat. They are busy preparing the land for spring planting now. On the right hand you see pine trees for pine kernels. First time I have seen them grown as a crop.
